Klingon Captain Loses the B'aht Qul Challenge to Data in "The Chase"

One of the funniest scenes in all of Trek. A Klingon Captain challenges Data to the B'aht Qul and loses big time. GIFS from "The Chase"

The Episode that Poked Religion and Superstition in the Eye---Who Watches the Watchers

From "Who Watches the Watchers.” This stands in stark contrast to DS9 in which Captain Benjamin Sisko ends up being “The Sisko” to Bajoran spiritual leaders and their prophets. Here, Captain Picard must convince an alien farmer that he and the Federation are not divine beings.

This episode poked superstition and religious belief in the eye. The only thing that convinces this poor fool that Picard wasn't a god was when the captain showed up and got shot in the chest with an arrow and almost dies.
